Biography
I completed my Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Boston University with a concentration in Solid Mechanics and Materials in May 2018.
I graduated from the University of Illinois in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology before joining the Peace Corps in 2012. My service in the Peace Corps gave me firsthand knowledge of the challenges of development. I came to understand the characteristics of well-designed interventions, and the experience instilled in me an appreciation for complexity and an understanding of both the power and limitations of design. I aim to bring that balance to my engineering work, being able to mind the details while also seeing the bigger picture.
My interests include design, the physical sciences, economics, music, and traveling.
